Traditional Bedouin Dinner and Stargazing Experience

In Baidha, one of the communities adjacent to the Petra Archaeological Park, there is a camp called “Ammarin Bedouin Camp” operated by the local tribe in the middle of mountains surrounded by sand dunes. This tour offers an authentic experience of enjoying Bedouin dish (“Zarb” with local lamb for a group of 10 persons and more, or "Vegetable Sanija" for a group of less than 10 persons. See the back for the details). Please enjoy the tasty meal while enjoying the performance of traditional Rababa (one-stringed instrument) and Shababah (Jordanian flute). After dinner please enjoy star gazing from the sand dune outside of the camp with the guide. As there is no light around the camp, you can enjoy the beautiful stars in complete darkness. This program is supported by Baidha Tourism Association and the revenue will help the activities of the Association and the community.
