As per JITOA by-laws, Active Members are Jordanian Tour Operators registered by Jordanian regulations. To qualify, a company must be at least three years old and must register a minimum of 1,000 room nights per year.

Requirements

Active Members must fulfill the following minimum requirements:

• Be registered with the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
• Hold a valid tour operator license from the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and submit annual relicensing.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of licensed, legal experience in Jordan’s inbound tourism industry.
• Record at least one thousand (1,000) room nights per year.
• Enroll in JITOA’s Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy.
• Comply with JITOA bylaws as well as all sector regulations, guidelines, and standards.
• Commit to JITOA’s official Code of Ethics and Best Practices.
