Activities:

You are picked up from the Disi area and taken to the observatory hall to begin with a 20-minute presentation that takes you on a journey around the cosmos. Next, step out of the hall into a paved area and begin your trek across the sky using the available large telescopes (16-inch, 11 inch and 5 inch). Discover the constellations and see the stars and planets. After the stargazing session is over, a group photo is taken by professional astro-photographers with the stars as the background. Photos are then uploaded onto social media platforms. (Personalized pictures are also available) Nights can be chilly during October to April and require warm clothes. You will be transferred back to your camps afterwards.

The desert of Wadi Rum is known for its clear, bright night skies, far from the light pollution of large cities. It is a popular destination for stargazing, which is a unique experience that is not to be missed. This adventure gives you a taste of astronomy, as you see and learn about the treasures of the night sky, including the zodiac and other constellations, nebula, nearby planets, and more.

The activity takes place in the RumSky Observatory, which is set up with a large hall tent where briefings are given and an outdoor space equipped with five large telescopes. Professional will teach you about what you are seeing and guide you through the night sky in a two-hour stargazing adventure.
