JITOA Strengthens Collaboration with RSCN through Members’ Webinar
Published : 19-10-2025
On Sunday, October 19, JITOA organized an inspiring webinar in collaboration with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), highlighting Jordan’s diverse nature reserves and eco-tourism experiences.
Since its establishment in 1966, RSCN has led national efforts to protect Jordan’s wildlife and natural habitats. The organization manages several iconic reserves, including Dana Biosphere Reserve, Ajloun Forest Reserve, Shaumari Wildlife Reserve, Mujib Biosphere Reserve, and Dibeen Forest Reserve—each offering unique landscapes and authentic eco-experiences.
Participants learned about RSCN’s eco-lodges, adventure trails, and community-based tourism projects such as Feynan Ecolodge in Dana, Ajloun Forest Cabins, and Mujib Adventure Center, which combine conservation, cultural heritage, and sustainable livelihoods. The session also explored opportunities for collaboration between tour operators and RSCN to promote responsible travel and enhance visitor experiences in these natural destinations.
JITOA extends its appreciation to the RSCN team for their valuable insights and to all members who joined the discussion, reinforcing our shared commitment to preserving Jordan’s environment while advancing sustainable tourism development.
