Petra, Jordan – To further enhance Jordan’s tourism offerings, the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA), in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA), organized a Familiarization (FAM) trip from December 2 to 4.

Fifteen participants from various JITOA member inbound tour operators joined the trip to explore and evaluate newly developed tourism products in the historic city of Petra. The FAM trip provided participants with the opportunity to experience firsthand the innovations and improvements aimed at enriching visitors’ experiences, while also offering valuable feedback to support the ongoing development of the destination.

By linking industry professionals directly with Petra’s latest tourism initiatives, JITOA continues to foster collaboration, ensure high-quality visitor experiences, and promote Jordan as a world-class travel destination.
