Cooperation Agreement Between the Tourism Economy Association and JITOA to Enhance Joint Tourism Efforts

Within the framework of strengthening partnerships between tourism sector institutions and unifying efforts to advance the industry in Jordan, the Tourism Economy Association (TEA) and the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) signed a cooperation agreement. The signing aimed to expand coordination and joint action to develop the sector and enhance its presence locally and internationally.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Mr. Osama Dabbas, Chairman of the Board for TEA, and Mr. Nabih Riyal, Chairman of JITOA. The signing took place in the presence of several board members and representatives, including Mr. Mohammad Samih (Vice Chairman), Ihsan Idlibi, and Rula Hamouda from TEA, alongside Nizar Steitieh, Nidal Bani Issa, Yasar Malhas, and Lama Mahadeen from JITOA.

This agreement stems from a shared belief in institutional integration to face tourism sector challenges. It focuses on developing cooperation mechanisms to support inbound tourism and reinforce Jordan’s position as a premier destination known for its rich cultural heritage and diverse offerings.

The partnership emphasizes continuous coordination and consultation to build an integrated vision capable of keeping pace with global tourism shifts, ultimately serving Jordan's interests on the global tourism map.
